18th Diczfalusy Meeting - 2026

18th Annual Meeting of the
Egon and Ann Diczfalusy Foundation

8-10 October, 2026
Szeged, Hungary

Prof. Dr. Ferenc Bari - president of the Foundation

Dear Interested Parties and Colleagues

This year marks the 18th edition of the Diczfalusy Memorial Lecture and Symposium (DAL 18), which will be held in Szeged from October 8 to 10. We are delighted to welcome you and hope you will be able to attend this distinguished event.

Since 2007, the Foundation has organized an annual scientific forum (DAL), where renowned speakers present the latest achievements in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, and young professionals have the opportunity to introduce themselves through lectures and poster presentations.

This year, among other things, we will commemorate our founder, who passed away ten years ago, by recalling his scientific and intellectual legacy, which remains relevant to this day. We will present the Diczfalusy Lifetime Achievement Award and the Young Diczfalusy Award. At this year’s conference, current issues in obstetrics and gynecology residency training will be a central focus, and we will present international and domestic trends.

The conference’s main topics (draft):

  •  “AI-Driven Women’s Health”
  • “Challenges in Reproductive Health”
  • “Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology”
  • “Reproductive Longevity and Fertility Preservation”
  • and “free talks and posters.”

We will provide ongoing updates on the conference program, registration, and abstracts on our website.

I would like to draw your and your colleagues’ attention to the conference and emphasize that we would be delighted to welcome speakers/presentations from your university on the topics listed, as well as other new scientific findings. The Diczfalusy Symposium is traditionally low-cost; the planned DAL18 participation fee ranges from 100 to 150 euros, excluding accommodation costs.

Best regards,

Prof. Ferenc Bari, PhD, DSc
