Dr. Gyula Telegdy Professor Emeritus of Reproduction and Neuroendocrinology, former director of the Institute of Pathophysiology of the University of Szeged, 1975-2000, Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine Szeged University, 1985-1990 Deputy Rector for General and Education at Szeged University, 1997-2000, Full member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 1995 Awards and recognitions: Széchenyi Prize 1998, Honorary Citizen of the City of Szeged 2007, Life time Scientific Award of the Diczfalusy Foundation 2013, Pro Scientia Lifetime award of the Szeged Regional Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2020. In two terms he was Chairman of the Szeged Regional Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, 1991-1999 and 2002-2008. He was practicing the founders rights of the Diczfalusy Foundation, 2014-2019.
