Gabor Németh, MD, PhD, is Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Szeged, Hungary.

He has studied medicine in Szeged, Hungary. His further training was a research fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, controlled by Frederick Naftolin, followed by his residency OB/GYN in Szeged.

Professor Németh is the president of Hungarian Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Southest Hungary Section, member of the board of Hungarian Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, member of the Hungarian Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is the vice-dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Szeged, and member of the Faculty Council, (Faculty of Medicine, University of Szeged). His main interests are endometriosis, laparoscopic tecniques, gynecological endocrinology, minimal invasive surgery.
